Legendary San Francisco live show, from 1991. We were due to play an outdoor free gig – but bad weather meant it was rained off. The performance was moved inside, but the club could only hold half of the crowd who’d turned up. So, we decided to do two sets. Back to back. The intensity of those two shows just blew us away. We’ve played hundreds of live shows, across thirty-five years, but if you ask any of us – “hey, which gig was the best?” Well, it’s this one. Absolutely no question about it. It was the sort of gig where you just…..know. When it was all over, and we’d played both sets, we were so exhausted, we could could hardly stand. But we were completely elated. We were all high on the adrenalin of this show, for days.
